Last night which was a Thursday saw the legendary Tom Creagh being presented with the first ever Speaking Supper Super Speaker Award. The award itself was a statue in the shape of a Buddha which has been signed with a sharpie on the underside and it was presented to a rapturous Tom Creagh by a suitable awed Shane Mac Gowan in front of a similarly ecstatic audience at Enas On The Mill in Mountmellick. A great night was had by most people.Afterwards, on the tour bus, Shane and Sarah ate some sweets to celebrate.Bressie was not present, but was believed to be gutted, as was Michael Fassbender also not presentHowever Gabriel Byrne was rumoured to be not too upset having got an award for something else. Liam Neeson could not be contacted for a comment, but is said to be quite pissed off.
